PILM INTERNATIONAL - MECHANICAL DIVISION

The new ASTRA 120/150 model allows to cut mountboards, paperboards and clothes of various thickness and with a lenght of 1250 mm (49 inch) and 1550 mm (61 inch). To make the measuring and cutting adjustment easier this machine is equipped with easy-to-use supports, reset registers and cutter bar.

ELISSOMATEC

The ELISSOMATEC is a mount cutter machine that cuts only circles and ovals (45° and 90°) but its versatility allows the easy cutting of more openings on the same mountboard. The machine is equipped with a marking head for drawing the opening and a cutting glass head. For circular cuts the minimum diameter is 50 mm and the maximum is 450 mm, for oval cuts the maximum opening size is 450 x 650 mm.

CMS: CUTTER MATEC SPECIAL

Main characteristic of CMS is the possibility of cutting all four sides without removing the board from the machine. It' possible to cut multi-opening mounts by simply altering the 4 margin stops. The cut can be 45° or 90°. The CMS has a pneumatic mount clamping allowing its rapid insertion. Supplied with set of 4 flip stops with 4 spacers of 5 mm each; these spacers allow to cut double and triple mounts without resetting the flip stops. The CMS is available in three different operating systems:

- CMS MANUAL: a manual head cut by manually pushing and rotating the head's knob.

- CMS PNEUMATIC: the cutting head and the functioning is easier and more automatic, just push the two buttons above the knob. This model has also the autolocking system that allows the pneumatic locking of each axis automatically: while cutting horizontally the trolley is locked vertically and vice versa, allowing a perfect result even on large openings.

- CMS AUTOROTATING: the cutting head is pneumatic and autorotating (clockwise and anti clockwise). The button on the left allows the head to come up and turn; the button on the right allows the insertion of the blade. This model has also the autolocking system for the axis.

Optionals

ELLISOMATEC SPECIAL (V-ELL): easy-to-install accessory that allows to cut mountboard and oval and round glasses. The cut can be 45° or 90° on the front of the mount. It's possible to cut multi openings or linear and oval cuttings without moving the mount. Min. circle is 5cm - max 60 cm; max oval opening is 60x80 cm. V-ELL is standard equipped with 4 cutting heads. V-ELL exists in two versions for CMS 120 and for CMS 150.

END TRIMMER: it's used for trimming and squaring mountboards up to 3,5mm. Foot pedal to control the pneumatic clamping. END TRIMMER exists in two versions for CMS 120 and for CMS 150.
